Pumpkin Patch 2011

On Sunday (the 9th) we all went to the pumpkin patch in Hernando and this year Gramma went with us.  The kids had a blast and I did manage to get some pictures. Neil really loved the farm animals and he even kissed a donkey!  He tried several times to catch a chicken but to no avail. They both enjoyed the train ride and the playground.  Next year I plan on trying to go on a Saturday because afternoons are stressful on kids who haven't had a nap and apparently everyone goes on Sunday and the place was packed.
Camden missed the pig races this year because she had something in her eye. It took an act of Congress to get it out but once we did she was able to enjoy the rest of the day and Marvin and I survived all of the judgemental stares from other parents.
Both the kids found a small pumpkin at the pumpkin patch and Camden loved making pirate sounds on the pirate ship.  All in all I think it was a great day and I can't wait until next year!!

This poor chicken had to get up here to get away from Neil.

They loved feeding the animals and Neil of course had to try some for himself!

                                                              my two serious guys!

Not the best picture of me!
Checking out the train before the ride started
Best dad in the whole world!
My little buckaroos :)

Heading through the hay tunnel

He wouldn't stand still for a second!

Exploring the pirate ship

This was the best I could do!

And people wonder why I can't keep up with them! They are always full speed
and usually headed in opposite directions.

Pickin pumpkins!

Headed back to the tractor with her pumpkin
