I am Blessed!

This weekend was great!  Nothing exciting happened but it was a great one nonetheless.  Saturday the weather was beautiful and the kids and I spent the morning at the park.  Marvin got home just after supper and I headed to clean a local business (my new saturday night job).
Sunday was even better!  We had an awesome guest speaker Gary Bates who is the CEO of CMI (Creation Ministries International).  He is originally from Australia but recently relocated with his family to Atlanta, GA to accept his current position with CMI.  He has written several book and you can check out their website http://www.creation.com/ .  By clicking on the what we believe and what we do tabs you can get an understanding of what he was speaking on.
After church we went to eat lunch and Uncle John joined us.  The kids haven't seen much of him lately and they were excited about having him over.  While Marvin, John, and the kids napped I went to al-Mart to buy groceries for the week then came back and went running :)  Yes, I am so excited about my newest hobby/lifestyle change.  So far I've lost 3 inches off my stomach and around 4 lbs.  I can't wait to see where I am in January!  My goal is to be able to wear my old clothes before I turn 30.
When I got back from running Marvin and John had started supper (burgers on the grill) and we all ate shortly after.  After supper I played with the kids while John and Marvin went back to church to hear the speaker again.
Once the kids were in bed for the night I watched a movie then went to bed.  When I woke up this morning the kitchen was spotless and my washing machine was fixed!  Have I mentioned lately how great my husband is?!? And on Friday I get to go to a women's conference in Tupelo with Mama and Stacy!!! I am really excited about this little break and one of the speakers at the conference will be Sarah Palin!  I miss Tupelo and will really enjoy getting to spend part of the weekend there.
I am really excited about our life and can't wait to see what God has planned for us next!

My God is always faithful even though I am not and I am really glad of that!
