Learning to Bend

Things in our life are in a happy rhythm right now.
It has taken me most of last year and part of this to learn to adjust my life into a rhythm rather than a rigid schedule.  Now don't get me wrong my OCD personality and tendencies still occur on a daily basis but God is teaching me flexibility in a way I never thought possible.
If you told me when I first came home to be with the kids that I would have a career from home that was successful but extremely sporadic in terms of scheduling I would have run from it like the plague.  After viewing AdvoCare as a career for the past year, I have come to adjust our lives as needed to fit this wonderful opportunity into it.
Starting each week with a blank schedule and having it fill up sporadically within a matter of minutes was really hard for me at first.  I mean I am the person who almost went into cardiac arrest when at age 16 my parents informed me the day before we were leaving that we were going to Disney World for the first time.  Doesn't everyone know you need at least two weeks to pack and prepare!  I am really thankful the God I serve is not only loving but patient with me as well.  I am excited about all of the changes that are coming and the ones that have already taken place.  It feels really good to be able to help people everyday for a living all the while getting to spend the majority of my time devoted to my own children.
