Good Friday

Friday it rained and we took advantage and stayed inside and decorated Easter eggs.  Marvin got home from work a little early so he worked in the yard and the kids put on their rain boots and looked for worms.  Couldn't have asked for a better day!

Easter Party at Preschool!

Yesterday the kids had their Easter Party and this year we actually got to hunt eggs at a park!  It was a little chilly at first but quickly warmed up.  We were all thankful for the sunshine and the kids had a blast.

Blast from the Past

Mama was digging through some old photos for Stacy today and she sent me some pictures of when Stacy and I were toddlers :)  We grew up in a 600 square ft house and I had one of the happiest most fulfilling childhoods anyone could ask for.   We had two wonderful godly parents who loved us and made sure we had a blast no matter what we did.  I only hope I can measure up to be half the parent they were to me and Stacy.

Pinterest Lunch Success

Thanks to my friend Claire I am now addicted to the salad in a jar from Pinterest.  This was so easy to prepare and tasted fresh after staying in the fridge overnight!  I am going to make up a few days worth and do them for my lunches.  Mama is doing it too and I need to stock up on more veggies because hers looked more colorful than mine.  The trick is to put dressing on the bottom and then layer veggies, meat, cheese, and finally lettuce.  Screw on the top and presto! Lunch in a jar!

The kids have been a hoot lately and this morning Camden kept telling Neil me and you have to stand together because we are rock stars :)  I have no clue where they come up with some of this stuff!
