My Little Man

Neil is growing up so fast. A part of me has been dreading potty training and a part of me has been holding on to the last baby in diapers. After a much needed pep talk from Nana we developed a game plan and just jumped right in. I am happy to report he has actually done better than Camden did when she started! Day 1 - six accidentsDay 2 - woke up wet, 3 accidents, woke up dry from napDay 3 - woke up dry, 1 accident!!!

Camden's 1st Dance Recital

Yesterday Camden had her dance recital and she was so cute!!! I have it on video but can't figure how to upload it onto blogger. Any bloggers feel free to leave me instructions!

She was so serious about some of the moves and she makes my heart smile. I couldn't have been more happy for her.

My Office and Staff

I love my job with AdvoCare but I love even more that it allows me to be with my favorite little people in the world :) Until 3 years ago I lived for Friday now every day feels like Saturday (and not like the miserable Saturdays I spent cooped up in a store selling furniture while everyone else I knew was out having fun). This is like the restful Saturday when you don't have anywhere to be and you get to spend it at home, only mine lasts all week so when we have a busy or eventful weekend I actually look forward to Monday and these little blessings are why I do....

Dance Camp 2012

This morning at 9:00 I dropped off Camden at our church so she could attend Dance Camp. She has been so excited and could not wait to get there. Neil however, screamed all the way home because he couldn't stay and play too. Once at home I was able to bribe him to calm down with a sucker and some one on one time in the little pool.

After we picked up Camden and had lunch it was back to the pool. These are the best $20 investments you can make and they usually last at least two summers.

His Ways Are Perfect

Sometimes I feel like I have to be the
most disappointing Christian on the planet. Time and time again God shows me that His love and protection are never failing yet when something I perceive as bad happens I freak out. I am grateful He is a forgiving God and sets the ultimate example of how I should live.
When we had to leave the house in the country unexpectedly and with a newborn baby I was hurt and angered and for over a year I let that anger consume my thoughts and my life. I am so grateful God allowed me to see what it was doing and where it was taking me and I started focusing all of my angry thoughts on Gods Word instead. Once my spirit began to change and soften that opened up the door for me to want my outer body to be presentable as well. This timing could not have worked out any better and that led to AdvoCare. God knows all along what is best for our life even when we think we have our "dream" life He is constantly showing me I have no idea what I am missing when I don't let Him take the wheel.
I am going to strive to be content and happy where I am in any part of my life and I can't wait to see where this wonderful journey of life takes me. I pray I will receive each change in my life as good and always look for the best in every situation. I know I'm not perfect and this world isn't either but the God I serve is and I place my trust in Him.

My future photographer

Camden now goes straight to the camera on my phone instead of the games. Below are a few of her pictures. :)

She won't let me help her with actual people yet but she is learning to back away from things...

VBS day 4

Friday we drew outlines of the children to show that they are one of Gods amazing creations. I'll be blogging on the wonderful songs the children have learned soon. Our performance is Sunday morning.

My Heart is Full

Camden gave me the biggest hug tonight and looked at me and said "nothing's better than a mama".

Our God is good all the time!
