Small town carnival

Two years ago we tried the fair/carnival that comes to greenwood every year on Park Avenue. It didn't go so well Neil screamed the whole time and Camden kept running away from us. The germ aspect freaked Marvin out too :)

Last year we managed to maneuver around it but this year I drove right past it and the kids went absolutely nuts! After begging Marvin that it could be my Mothers Day gift he gave in an agreed we could go.

The kids had a BLAST! Neil was just under the height requirements for most of the rides so Marvin graciously agreed to do them since my ears are still healing. I think Marvin enjoyed the little roller coaster as much as the kids because they rode it twice. Camden said "mama can we go to this park everyday" :):) best money spent in a while!!

I could not have been happier and I even got to experience the Ferris wheel with them and their faces were priceless :) happy Wednesday treat.

Best Daddy Ever!!  Neil was too short to ride a few alone so Marvin graciously offered to ride with them :)  My ears were still off a little and I don't think I would have survived.

I think the roller coaster was Camden and Marvin's favorite ride

1st Ferris Wheel Ride and this was one I was not going to miss out on :)

This was my favorite picture of the night

School's Out for Summer :)

Its really hard to believe they are out!!  I didn't get a chance to prepare my house or my schedule and I look up and they have had their last day of school.  Things have really been busier than I thought they would and the kids have been having a blast being together and being home with me.  They have been a big help with cleaning (not their rooms) and they are old enough now that they really do entertain themselves.  Camden is enjoying the fact that Neil can actually have a detailed conversation with her so she isn't aware of their age difference as much.

I was so excited to recieve their end of the year scrapbooks and school pictures!  It is really nice to have them at such a small school where the teachers have the time to put into little things like that.

Graduation at FPK

The kiddos made it through another whole year of preschool!  Where is the time going?!?! I've been really ill lately and barely made it, couldn't hear what they were singing but could tell both of mine were singing their little hearts out and that made it worth the pain.  Thankful Gramma and Granddaddy got to come and Nana brought her camera.  Mama stayed with me to help out with the kids so Marvin could go to work.   They were so proud of their new t-shirts and all of the neat folders and books that their teachers put together for them throughout the year.  I know this can't happen at larger schools and I am really satisfied at where they are now in their school.
