Jesse Tree Ornaments

Thankful for Christian friends! My friend Claire sent me the printouts and scripture references for Jesse Tree Ornaments for the kids. It's basically an advent activity that starts with the beginning of the Bible and points to the coming of Christ in chronological order. This teaches children about how everything in the Bible points to Christ and ends at his birth. Since I wasn't prepared this year we are just doing card stock ornaments. Next year I hope to be on top of things in time to do a more permanent version. I can't wait to show them when I get them from school today!

More Santa

The church sent us these pictures from our breakfast with Santa and I has to post them because I loved Neil's expressions!

Sunday Fun

At church Camden's class made another batch of homemade play doh (now they each have one and less fighting) and a hot chocolate mix. She was so excited to try it that we ended up having hot chocolate with our lunch. The kids had theirs lukewarm and Neil ended up liking it more than Camden.

After nap the kids help Marvin and John in the yard and they all had a blast.

Overall it was a wonderful day spent at home with family and these days make me the happiest :)

Monday for me means a quiet morning grocery shopping and cleaning house. My kind of Monday!

Aladdin the Elf

Looks like Aladdin the Elf found his way back to the Sheffield house this year :) the kids have had a blast finding him each morning the past couple of days. The movie is really cute and I've got the songs stuck in my head already.

Chloe and Ella B-day Party

After breakfast with Santa and a quick trip to Inverness we took the kids to Chloe and Ella's Gingerbread birthday party.

Breakfast with Santa

This morning the kids got to go to our church for a pancake breakfast with Santa and pictures and crafts. Marvin and I had a much fun as they did.
