Neil's 1st Birthday Party!

My sweet, wild little man turned a year old April 5th!  This year has definately flown by, and on April 10th we had a birthday party for him at our house. We are so blessed to have had that many family members show up to celebrate with us!  Thanks a million to Stacy and Aunt Ginger who took all of these wonderful pictures!!  The party was at 2:00 and the festivities lasted long into the afternoon.  Marvin, John, and Allen left the party a little early to go pick up this amazing slide thing that someone graciously handed down to us! And then some of the family stayed for supper and we all went to LaPinata. He was such a good sport considering it was probably one of the most social days of his life :)

Enjoy the pics!  There are a ton of them posted because I loved them all!!!

Time for presents..

Gramma and Granddaddy gave him the sweetest little horse that was just his size!

I was excited about the clothes.
I guess he liked the shoes better.
Digging right in....
Sweet sister having fun too!

All the babies wanted a turn on the horse!

"there is a flaming candle in my presence because?.."

Testing the texture

I have no idea why the kid who eats dirt is hesitating on this!

And he finally got the hang of it.

Ginger and Jessica and Rachel (so glad they could come all the way from Columbus!)

Melissa Evans did another wonderful job on the cakes!!!

Catching up!

I've gotten behind once again on things I meant to post about.  So I've cleaned up my camera and here are a few shots I liked.  Can't wait to get all the pictures from everyone of Neil's 1st birthday party this past Sunday!!!  Below are some of the most recent outfits I have been sewing for my customers and a few for Neil :)

Happy Birthday Neil!!!

One year ago today God showed me once again how big my heart could be! I know this is going to sound silly but I was really concerned that I would not be able to love another child as much as I did Camden.  I don't know if it was the pregnancy hormones or just my warped way of thinking, either way it turned out to be a myth.  The moment I laid eyes on him he immediately had my heart! Camden started bellowing the moment her head reached air, Neil on the other hand took a few seconds to start crying (and seconds feel like years in a delivery room).  The moment I heard him cry was one of the happiest I have ever had!  And he has spent the past year making up for those few lost seconds of not crying :)
He is into everything! Walking full speed now and getting into cabinets, toilets, potted plants, dog food, cat food, and numerous other things he shouldn't.  Camden thinks she is his boss and is constantly directing him to do or not to do something.  He is definitely my little shadow and constant companion and I would not have it any other way!
He has been battling a sinus infection so I wont torture him with a photo shoot. His party is Sunday and we will get plenty of pictures then.
