Wow! It has been a very busy couple of weeks! Between Thanksgiving with several families and trying to keep up with the sewing and ironing, and now wrapping presents for Christmas and Camden's upcoming birthday, who has time to blog? Well I wanted to post a few pictures and hopefully in the next few weeks I will be able to make blogging a part of my weekly schedule once again. Not going to recap the past few weeks because no one wants to read the novel it would be. I will give a quick update on the kids though. Camden will be two years old on December 9th!!! I can't believe she is that old already :( She is growing up so fast on me! She no knows her entire alphabet and a few words to represent each letter, she can count to 10 and recognize the numbers on paper as well. She knows Philippians 4:13 and about 20 of her story books by heart (really all I do now is turn the pages for her and she tells me what it says). She loves Christmas music and all of the decorations and lights. Of course she has a pink tree for her room and she calls the stars at the top of the trees "twinkle, twinkle stars". She adds a new "ornament" to our tree everyday and it's interesting to see what it's going to be. So far we have a milk carton top, a clothes hanger, a pearl necklace, several toys and she tried to put a book in the tree but it was too heavy. She still loves Neil, just not when he takes her toys and she told me the other day that "he cries a lot". Neil is doing great as well but he really wants to walk and it makes him mad that he can't. I have a feeling Camden is going to be in trouble once he starts crawling and even more when he can walk. He is all BOY!! I am still getting used to all of his messiness :) Overall they are keeping me on my toes and I would not want it any other way, especially with these extra pounds to lose!
It official! My shirt business now has a name and a real logo!!! Thanks to the extremly talented Marley Sullivan my business is on the road to becoming a "real" business! Check out my new logo that she designed! And I hope to have a public Facebook page up and running over the weekend.
The day before Halloween our church had a Fall Festival and the kids got to dress up and play games for candy. Thankfully Nana was here before we left to go and she got some real cute pictures of the kids (our pink cat & monkey).
I am trying my hand at making and selling children's shirts to help pay the bills and keep me at home a little while longer. Below are the two shirts I am selling for the Thanksgiving holiday. Long sleeve and short sleeve, sizes 12 month - 5T if anyone is interested!
